The other half is a tiger that I'm not done with yet. lol
It's 95% done cause I have to finish the furriness around him but I felt like showing him off anyways. The face is based off Miyavi for light reference but I played around with the features a bit to suit my picture. ^^ Sadly half of the top of his head is missing due to the size of the original pic.. (he looks better with more hair) so imagine the top. lol
I'll eventually put stripes on the cheek to make it work with the tiger part but for now... it's only half a bish with lips I'm quite proud of.

Done in Pastel, Conté (white & Black) & Charcoal

I don't know why.. but the hints of yello really talk to me. It really brings the image out. I bet that without.. that image wouldn't be half as appealing (not that I'm saying its bad.. this would be amazing anyway! O_O). Kudos on the choice of color. ^^

thank you! ^^ You know... now that I look at him.. he looks like a realistic green eyed Sol! (my manga main character) O_o
I gotta remember to draw a realistic version of Sol someday! :D

But yeah, I wanted to make the highlights a sharp color but when I got to the cheek, I enjoyed the blend of ythe colours that were already there so much that I was scared to change it! thank you for the comment!

Wow! Its really really good. >.> I love his hair. Yeah.. I'm a hair person xD Well.. Its awesome, and his eyes really draw you in. Your really good with pastels.

Thanks Azn! And nice to see you here! I dunno if you got my message in the LAJ but I'm working on your lineart now. I'll send you samples of stuff I came up with but I'm still not convinced. >_< I think I can do better. :B
